Canadian Firearms Safety Course
The RCMP approved CFSC course’s primary purpose is to ensure that students are knowledgeable regarding the responsibilities of possessing and using non-restricted firearms (most rifles and shotguns). The course is delivered at a complete beginner level and includes a written and practical test.
You will learn:
Basic firearms safety practices.
Ammunition types and storage.
Operating firearm actions.
Safe handling and carry procedures.
Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user.
Safe storage, display, transportation, and handling of firearms.
Minors who successfully complete the CFSC course can apply for a Minor’s Licence. (link to Minors information)
Prerequisites
Aged 12+ (Parental consent required for minors)
Price is $210.00. This includes the course and exam. Manual is extra.
